Recently, GGE partnered with an elementary school in Oakville to clean up a park and trail in the local area. Our staff and regular volunteers came together to lead this clean up and educate a class of grade 5 students on the importance of keeping the earth clean and how they can make changes in their homes that will make a long lasting impact. Have you seen our signs? While we know we have made huge progress in cleaning up a lot of the local area, we've found ourselves constantly coming back to the same spots only to find even more trash had appeared. We've set up signs and waste bags all over the GTA to raise awareness of and hopefully, get people to at least put their trash in a place where we can come back and clean it up easily on a regular basis.

We're going global! This winter, we'll be sending a team to Mexico to clean up a once-beautiful beach that's been overrun by garbage. We've teamed up with a local guide who will take us to the site and walk us through their current recycling practices.
